GTR Series INTEGRATED SERVO ACTUATOR INVERTED ROLLER SCREW
Electric cylinders can be customised to specification, or a reverse-rotation planetary lead screw can be supplied separately.
The GTR series of integrated electric cylinders feature a design that integrates the rotor and stator of a built-in servo motor with a planetary roller screw. The magnetic field generated by the servo motor’s stator coils drives the rotation of the planetary roller screw nut, thereby achieving linear motion via a reverse-rotation screw mechanism. The use of a planetary roller screw, with 8–12 planetary rollers distributed around the main screw, results in a significantly larger contact area between the rollers and the main screw compared to the point contact of steel balls in a ball screw. Consequently, planetary roller screws of the same diameter offer greater load-bearing capacity, higher mechanical rigidity and a longer service life than ball screws.
Product Features：
GTR Series actuators use a specially designed roller screw mechanism for converting electric motor power into linear motion within the actuator. Planetary rollers, assembled around the actuator's extending rod, follow threads which are precisely machined on the inside surface of the actuator's hollow armature. Linear motion is produced in precise synchronization with the armature rotation. Because roller screw mechanism has an inherently larger cumulative contact surface, these actuators have a much longer working life, and can handle heavier loads at higher speeds than is possible from a similarly sized ball screw system.
Sealed for Long Life with Minimum Maintenance：
GTR series integrated motor and actuator in One Compact Unit, the units are single,fully integrated component packages that are much smaller than traditional rotary-tolinear conversion mechanisms, the converting components in all GTR units are mounted within sealed motor housing. With a simple bushing and seal on the smooth extending rod, abrasive particles or other contaminants are prevented from reaching the actuator's critical mechanisms. This assures trouble-free operation even in the most harsh environments.
Closed Loop Servo Systems:
The brushless servo design means GTR Series units can be used in advanced closed-loop servo systems when velocity regulation and position control are required. Position feedback can be delivered in a number of different forms. These include resolvers, encoders, or internally mounted linear position feedback sensors.
Diversification of servo control systems：
Lim-Tec GTR series electric actuator can be compatible with most of the servo drivers on the market: Siemens S120, ABB, LENZE, SEW, ELMO, CT, Kollmorgen, ect. The coil voltage can be matched with 24VDC, 48VDC, 220VAC,380VAC, 440VAC and other non-standard voltages.
